As we come down the home stretch, its very important to know that there is the huge mess. Seriously, as much as you would think we could do it in a half hour like those home improvement tv shows, do you think the displaced stuff magically disappears? No….and you’ve only seen half the story of stuff piled up in the living room in the last post. Here is the rest…plus some added bonuses…..

View from the basement including the new Dan's man-cave. Notice the old couch and tv got a new life rather than be banished to couch and tv heaven.

Better uses for a ping pong table...all the junk from the family room.

Mike is moving into an apartment with his truly and decided his bedroom AKA mommy and daddy's house is safer than a department layaway bin.

More useless junk...well, its Mike's money so I can't complain!

See the boxes piled up neatly in front of the bike? Mike's! See the bedboard on my old barcolounger? Mike's!

And now for a couple of teaser shots…

A closeup shot of the new carpet

It pays to keep a few AB CI brochures around. The carpet installer was absolutely fascinated by my CIs and wanted to know how they work. So, I gave him these

This was long overdue. The engine and everything that controlled the previous version of Welcome to Sam Spritzer’s Web Site was outdated. Any upgrades and changes that I wanted to make wouldn’t work. Things like the dropdown boxes, the contact form, quick cosmetic changes were lacking. And of course, there were changes to my life. So why not the web site?

Over the next couple of weeks, I’ll be slowly bring over some more stuff from the other web site such as the running pages. I’ll probably add more links especially those that may be related to cochlear implants. So, please have patience and bear with me. In the meanwhile, if you catch a bug please click on Contact above and drop me a note.

Looking forward to serving you better!
Sam

I am thankful for my good health and that of my family. I am thankful for my new ears and the opportunity to hear like I’ve never heard before. I am thankful for my job and the wonderful people I work for and with. I am thankful for a injury-free, ever improving running season. I am thankful for my sanity. I am thankful for my extended family on Hearing Journey especially Jen, Abbie, Mike, Gloria, Kim, Queen Evelyn and all of those who have endured the trials and tribulations of their new ears, also known as cochlear implants. I am thankful to all of my fans, friends and every person who has played a role and part in my life. And lastly, I am thankful for my family…Steph, Mike, Dan, Mom, Ellen, Tom, Vamoose, Josh, Julie, Milt, and their families.

To everyone…please do have a happy healthy and wonderful Thanksgiving!

Many of you who know us, this is the 2nd Accord we’ve had. The first one was a 1991 LX in Rose Silver with a Burgundy interior. That car became Mike’s first car before he finally sold it to a friend who drove it a couple of more years until it finally died. Now I am itching to get one…black on black. Too bad they don’t make it green on green. That would go just lovely with my Checkers jacket.
