I don’t want to make much ado about this since Steph was suppose to be one of the runners but her hip kept her on the sidelines. Peggy, the gal on the left, took her place. The weather was ideal – slight overcast, slightly humid, in the 60s. I was the second leg, picking up from Peggy and did the part of the course that ran through south Buffalo to the Tifft Nature Preserve before looping back through South Buffalo to just before the harbor where “BIG” Mike was waiting for me. And Diane was the anchor. The Checkers water stop was right at the turn for the loop-back. Thanks guys and gals for drenching me in gatorade but you do have to admit they make one heck of a cheerleading section!
And a special thanks to the Buffalo “Snooze” for forgetting to post the results of Co-ed Masters winning relay team. Next year, Steph and I will most likely do the half marathon.
And you were worried about your competition before the race… Congratulations, that’s an excellent time. Mike looked strong when he passed me at mile 15. He got there right about the two hour mark of the race. Everyone must have run a strong leg. Now Utica?
Greg
Congratulations! That’s awesome!!
How tall are you? You are towering above those folks…but perhaps they’re all dwarves??
Congratulations! I’m lucky if I can run around the circle I live on!
