Well, I am one who is not surprised as i went to school w/ Diane & am familiar with who she is – her ‘ups & downs’ and ‘up agains’….how she has progressed over the years is interesting (good book/blog material — she would do well to capture those special moments and be a ‘Rock’ for other Women & a few good men…to boot!) FOR YOU.
Chicka-Boom !! … Chicka-Boom !!
‘crrick – oh’ :/
…but whatever IT Actually IS that she’s got to give & share is much much bigger than her athletic prowess and achievements. She was lead to discover her Passion (with all it’s blood, sweat & tears) and in discovering her Passion she found that God Is Alive! In Her Heart, Her Soul, Her Mind, and Her Body and therein lies the Strength of True Victory.
GodSpeed in Hawaii – Dianka !
Root-a-Toot-Tooting —> FOR YOU.
From what I understand, ONE person per age group per race qualifies for IM Hawaii. Diane is only the second person who I know that has done it – the other is Joanne York-Rappl
It turns out, Diane and Tony were planning on going to watch Joanne compete. Now they’ll be a little more involved.
This will be an awesome experience for her.
Watching Tony’s race with interest this weekend. That will be a great accomplishment when he finishes.
Thank you Kath, Sam and Greg.
Need to be that ‘ROCK’ for Tony. He is amazing and makes life so much fun with so much purpose.
Nice eating with you guys tonight. Great pasta!
Hey..Nice 4th of July picture on this page Sam! Wonder who took it?
I have upgraded the PR certificates maybe you can get one soon if you work at it…………..or maybe you would just like to look at one Steph is going to get first!!
Well, its been just over a month since I was in Hawaii for the Ironman Championships!
I can still see the fish in the ocean as I swam, I can still feel the salt water on my lips and I can still feel the winds in the lava fields. The more I think of it the more I want to go back.
People say-been there done that……….I will never say that!
IF I EVER get a chance to go back I hope we can swing it!
What a blessing that was~
