I used to remember my Visonic David headphones and these were the strongest ones ever made since I did have to crank them up to hear the music. They were so loud that you’ll think the speakers were on. And boy, were they expensive! And ever since they finally blew out, I missed hearing the good music. Now, its like a reunion and one that truly bought tears to my eyes!
Most of you will also notice the title change in my previous posting. I had forgotten that my blog is being published on the Hearing Journey website and I am sure the reading audience includes children and other people of proper taste cultivated from the era of when people truly worshiped Miss Manners.
Today will be the first true test. Not only will I be doing the Dash for the Dome but I’ll also be hanging out with all of my running friends in the glassed atrium where the sound can echo very loudly.
Then tonight, a group of us are heading over to the Shogun restaurant where the challenge will be the dimly-lit room and conversation flying around the table. And I promised Darlene and Chuck they will get to sit next to me and Steph.
And then tomorrow is the Daytona 500, NASCAR‘s equivalent of the auto racing Super Bowl. This is probably the only true sport where you can cheat and get away with it and, where you don’t have a bunch of juiced overpaid egoistic crybabies. My pick…Dale Earnhardt, Jr.
Sam,
I thought about you all week and was anxious to hear about your reaction to going stereo. . . glad to hear it is all going so well! You might be a little overwhelmed at first but yes, the two ears work in tandem with each other. We have two ears for a reason!
Congratulations and have a good weekend. I love “Stairway to Heaven” too! That was my high school dance song and it sounds sooooo much better with CI’s! And “Color My World” by Chicago. . . oh my word!
