A brand new PR – #3 for the year and #11 lifetime! AND, it blew the previous one out of the water by 35 seconds. No…I wasn’t on steroids. It was a perfect running day with an extremely fast course. Awesome weather – high 60s, low 70s, dry (unlike last year when it was HOT, HUMID and with a huge thunderstorm right before the start causing the water to literally boil on the pavement). Awesome crowd and post-race party. Brand new Asics 2110s completely decked out in Checkers green. And to top it all, it was Steph’s first race back from injury and she took second place! The picture above is Steph and our friend Anne who also won a trophy. Hotties, aren’t they!!
