Buh bye Schwinn…

THANK YOU Steph and mom, two of my main wimin for the early birthday present, a spanking brand new 2008 Cannondale Adventure 4 Bike. Believe it or not, this is the first time I have owned a bike other than Schwinn.

Friday, I picked up the replacement for my primary right side Cochlear Implant processor. So far, so good but I am still curious as to why it failed and even more, why the backup failed too. And lately, I feel the quality of sound has been deteriorating somewhat since I seem to be having trouble with the Ling sounds.

Friday night’s race sucked! It was humid. I went out too fast. I over-trained during the week. And I didn’t have Wegman’s famous roasted chicken the night before. The next race is my shortest to date… the Dick Bessel Independence Day 2.3 mile. Steph will be doing that one too.

Have a great week! If anything newsworthy comes up, I’ll surely report on it.

You must have been lucky to have two great ladies to get you a bike. Biking is a fun sport.
